What is included in your wedding planning packages?

We do not offer packages per se. Our services are comprehensive and customisable to suit your specific requirements. Services typically include venue selection, vendor coordination, event design, budget management, timeline development, and day-of coordination and would be happy to share a proposal following a consultation. We also offer additional services such as destination wedding planning, honeymoon planning, and post-wedding assistance as needed.


How far in advance should we book your services?

Ideally, couples should reach out to us 12 to 18 months before their wedding date, especially for destination weddings or peak wedding seasons. However, we are flexible and can accommodate last-minute inquiries whenever possible.


How do you ensure client privacy and discretion in your services?

At The Wedding Company, we understand the importance of respecting our clients' privacy while also showcasing our work. We believe in highlighting the beauty and elegance of the events we plan, focusing on the intricate details and overall atmosphere rather than specific individuals. Our approach allows us to showcase our expertise and creativity while still respecting the confidentiality of our clients. Additionally, our experience in planning weddings and events for ultra high net worth individuals has honed our ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality at the highest level. 



How do you determine your pricing for wedding planning services?

Our pricing structure is tailored to the unique needs of each project. For destination weddings, we typically charge a percentage of the overall total to account for the additional coordination and logistics involved in planning weddings abroad. In contrast, for weddings in Hong Kong, we charge a flat fee, ensuring transparency and predictability in our pricing.

While there is no set minimum budget requirement, our services are best suited for weddings with a minimum budget of USD150,000.



Do you have preferred vendors or can we choose our own?

We understand that certain elements of your wedding, such as choosing your photographer, videographer, hair, and makeup artist, can be personal to you. You are welcome to select your own professionals for these services.

However, when it comes to floral design and event production, we prefer to utilise our trusted vendors to ensure the highest quality and consistency in design and execution. Our trusted floral partners have been carefully vetted for their expertise, creativity, and commitment to excellence. Rest assured, we will work closely with you to seamlessly integrate your chosen vendors into the overall planning process, ensuring a cohesive and harmonious wedding day experience.

These meetings can vary depending on your preferences and the complexity of your wedding, but as a general guideline, we aim to meet approximately once a month leading up to your wedding day. However, we are flexible and can adjust the frequency of meetings based on your schedule and needs. Additionally, we are always available via phone or email to discuss any updates or changes to your wedding plans between meetings, ensuring that you feel supported and informed every step of the way.

How do you handle unexpected challenges or emergencies?

Our experienced team is well-equipped to handle unexpected challenges or emergencies that may arise during the planning process or on the wedding day. Our proactive approach, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail ensure that your wedding day runs smoothly, allowing you to relax and enjoy every moment without stress or worry.

What about the billing? Can I pay the vendors directly?

We prioritise flexibility and transparency in the billing process. While clients are welcome to settle invoices directly with certain vendors like photographers, videographers, hair and makeup artists, and live bands, for production-related items such as floral decoration, sound & lighting, invitations, printing, etc., we handle billing centrally through our company. 

What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?

Our cancellation and rescheduling policy is designed to be fair and transparent, taking into account the unique circumstances of each couple's situation. We understand that unforeseen events or changes in plans may necessitate canceling or rescheduling your wedding, and we are here to support you through the process. Our policy outlines the terms and conditions for cancellations, rescheduling, and any associated fees or refunds. We strive to work closely with our clients to find mutually satisfactory solutions and minimise any disruption to their wedding plans.
